The orchestra will be hitting the ground running this January, so please read the important news below. This is our busiest time of the year as we prepare for LGPE in just a few short weeks.
FINAL (EXTENDED) REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR ORLANDO
As I wrote over break, because we have not yet met the minimum number of registrations for our March trip to Orlando, we extended the deadline until tomorrow, January 6 at 6:00 PM. If we do not meet the minimum number of students we will be forced to cancel the trip and issue refunds to those who have paid. There will be no other trip this year.

LGPE CAMP THIS FRIDAY
Our LGPE camp is this Friday, January 9 from 4:00 to 9:30 PM. This is a REQUIRED event for all orchestra students and will be a critical part of our LGPE preparations. Students will have two full orchestra rehearsals, a sectional, and a special clinic that focuses on sightreading strategies.
Our simplified schedule for Friday will be as follows.
LGPE PERMISSION FORMS
The online field trip permission forms for our LGPE trips are now available for parents to approve in ParentVue. Parents: please login and complete the permission form.
ALL-STATE AUDITIONS FINAL ROUND
The final round of All-State Auditions is this Saturday, January 10 at Riverwood International Charter School. Students auditioning should have received their specific time before the break. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time.
Let's wish our 12 students the best of luck with their audition!
