We are so excited for our trip to Orlando tomorrow! We will be taking 67 students to participate in the Sound Design workshop at Universal Studios.

| Registration for Electives 2024-2025 |

Orlando students should make sure their electives are finalized TONIGHT.
If your child has questions about electives for next year, I’m happy to discuss that with them or you. Please let me know. I want the best for your child and know that orchestra is a really great opportunity.
Students who are choosing to have orchestra during their lunch should leave a note at the bottom with directions and that they want an orchestra lunch.

| Masterworks Concert – "Let Music Live!" |
|
The Lassiter Chamber Orchestra, Symphonic Band 1, and Chorus will be putting on a concert on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 PM.
The concert will feature each ensemble and several combined works. This concert is open to everyone and orchestra students not performing will receive extra credit for attending. Mark your calendar as we celebrate
the 10th year of the opening of Lassiter Concert Hall. |
Auditions are due to Flip by Friday, March 29. Regardless of elective choice, every student must prepare an audition. We have been working on portions of the audition material in class. Students are encouraged to

| A Night at the Movies and More! (Spring Concert) |

Orchestras have begun preparations for our Spring Concert entitled “Night at the Movies and More!” This concert will be held on Thursday, April 25 at 7:00 PM. We will perform music from
movies, and some fun pop tunes that everyone will enjoy. Please mark your calendars – you won't want to miss it!!
Our annual Awards banquet will take place on Saturday, May 11. Save the date! Students will eat for free and parents/families will soon be able to buy tickets.
This event is a celebration of the year in orchestra and a tribute to our amazing senior class of 2024.
