Poinsettia Sale
Our annual poinsettia sale is underway!  Poinsettias make great gifts for neighbors, teachers, friends, and family! We have 5 varieties of plants available for $13 each. These plants are beautiful and come from a local green house.  All students were given an order form, however you can also order and pay for everything online!  The deadline is November 6.  Get all details here:

Program Book Advertisements
Our annual program book advertisement campaign has been extended thru Friday, October 27.  We are looking for business or personal ads (hello, Senior parents!).  Please help us fund the program book and support local businesses.

HOCO Parade
The parade is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM this Friday, October 20. We will meet at the Home Depot parking lot at 4:15 PM to decorate the float (trailer).  Thank you to Mr. Barnes for being willing to drive his truck and pull the float!

We will need decorations (think creepy, kooky —  like the Addams Family!) to decorate our trailer.  We will also need people to bring candy to throw out.  Finally, if you will be walking and not playing (cello/bass!) you can make signs to hold up.

Lassiter Orchestra, The Addams Family, “Thank you Thing”, or whatever sound fun.

NOTE: I’m VERY worried about rain on Friday.  If there is any chance that it will rain during the parade, we will not be able to perform.  Our instruments can’t get wet and there will be no option to shelter them from the rain.  Should we have to put our instruments aside, we can still participate in the parade but not play.  I will keep everyone in the loop via the BAND app.
