Newsletter #4 – August 28, 2026What to bring:
- Wear your orchestra t-shirt!
- Bring water bottle and sack lunch. Lunch is at 11:55 AM
- Bring instrument, bow, accessories, sheet music folder (with camp schedule attached)
- Phones should be stowed in a bag, instrument case, or on the community charger during instructional time.
- Please do not bring big backpacks. You may bring a small bag to hold your lunch, phone, and other personal items.
Camp Reminders:
- Report to LHS Theater at 8:40-8:50 AM on Saturday morning.
- Camp starts at 9AM in the theater. You can drop your cello/bass in the orchestra room first.
- Cellos/Basses should bring their own instrument, unless arranged with Dr. Laux
- Snacks will be available throughout the day
- No food or drinks in the theater or concert hall!
- The required portion of camp will be done at 4:00PM.
- Be respectful, ask good questions, get into the music, and have fun!
- Goes from 4PM to 7PM
- We will have pizza and drinks!
- Parent pick up is 7 PM

Our new orchestra t-shirts are super sharp! Every student received their new in class and must wear it to camp on Saturday.
Orchestra Dues – Deadline Approaching

Concert Uniforms
With our first concert being less than 3 weeks away, it is imperative that all students ensure they have a “concert black” uniform that fits!
