I apologize about not getting a newsletter out last week!
I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable break. Before break, all of the orchestras did an outstanding job and performed beautifully for superior (1) ratings at LGPE. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped ride the bus or transport instruments. Would couldn’t have done it without you!! I’m super proud of the work students put in and how they represented Lassiter. Bravo, orchestras!
The orchestras will now move into preparation for our annual “Night at the Movies & More” Spring Concert, and chamber music project performances. In addition, those wishing to audition for higher level ensembles (Sinfonia and Chamber) next year will be preparing their audition materials.
Below are the upcoming dates for assignments & concert dates. Please be sure they are marked on your calendar as spring semester does get very busy!

Please save the date for our Annual Awards banquet! It’s a fun way to celebrate our students and their accomplishments and also a nice way to honor our senior class of 2026.
Saturday, May 2 at Mt Zion United Methodist Church, 1770 Johnson Ferry Rd., from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.
