THANK YOU
I would like to sincerely thank our banquet committee, Ms. Melanie Smith, Ms. Ashley Saunders, Ms. Lisa Gilmore, and Ms. Sonya Feitell, for putting together the most beautiful banquet last weekend. You made it so special for the students
and we are are grateful for your time and attention to detail. Also thank you to the large number of parents and students who helped with set up and clean up!
The dinner was fantastic! Special thanks to Mr. Todd Thompson and A&S Culinary for the wonderful food. The awards banquet is always such a nice way to celebrate our students' accomplishments for the year and honor
our senior class of 2025. We have the best kids!! |
Finally, I am also extremely grateful for the beautiful flower bouquet and Amazon Gift Card. Thank you for your generosity and for contributing. It's definitely not necessary, however I am floored by the gesture and my
heart is full.

Small Groups / Chamber Music Unit |
|
|
With testing going on and kids entering and leaving classes, the chamber music unit is a perfect way to end the school year. It provides a lot of flexibility and an opportunity for students to play with their friends in
a small group setting. Students should be working in class to prepare for their in class chamber music recital.
Students in grades 9-11 will perform on their orchestra exam day:
- Monday, May 19 – 2nd Period Concert Orchestra
- Tuesday, May 20 – 3rd Period Philharmonia and 4th Period Sinfonia
- Wednesday, May 21 – 5th Period Chamber Orchestra
If you were not able to make the banquet, you missed our big logo reveal! Going forward we will be using the following artwork for our logos and banners. We will also use it on our upcoming spiritwear!
These logos are available for students on our website at https://www.lassiterorchestra.org/logos
Special thanks to our incredible orchestra parent, Ms. Jennifer Dragon, for designing these amazing logos! |
