| Lassiter Orchestras Receive Superior Ratings |
|
Congratulations to all four of our Lassiter Orchestras for earning STRAIGHT SUPERIOR (I) ratings at LGPE on Wednesday and Thursday this week. The students worked exceptionally hard and performed
beautifully. I couldn't be more proud!!!
 Thank you to
our amazing parents who served as chaperones, drove instruments, and coordinated student snacks. We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to all of the parents for supporting our students!!

Valentine’s Day = INSTRUMENT LOVE!

On Wednesday, Feb 14 we will be cleaning instruments and checking maintenance items like strings, bridges, and sound posts. Violins and violas will work on their own personal instruments, then we will work on the school instruments.
Cellos and basses will each be responsible for at least one school instrument. Dr. Laux will inspect all personal instruments and students will be notified of any items that may need maintenance or replacement. Common
items are new strings, and bow re-hair/replacement.

Audition materials for next school year will be released sometime before the Winter Break. The audition will consist of several scales and two musical excerpts. All auditions will be recorded on Flip and will be due prior
to Spring Break. Details to follow…

We have room for 4 more students (up to two more girls and/or 3 more boys) for our Spring Trip to Orlando. If you are interested, we need confirmation and payment immediately. I wanted to pass along the opportunity for
