Dear Georgia Music Educators,

You are the teachers of some of our most passionate young musicians in the Atlanta area. Whether they’ve auditioned for the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, All-State, or District Honor Band or Orchestra, your students have embraced musical performance. As part of the Wells Fargo ArtsVibe Teen Program, we invite your students to take advantage of upcoming Teen Nights @ ASO, which provides free tickets for teens to select Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performances throughout the year.

The next opportunity to take advantage of Teen Night @ ASO is on November 19.  Both pieces performed this evening, Takemitsu’s A flock descends into the Pentagonal Garden and Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde are steeped in orchestral tradition. In November, ArtsVibe is focusing on Teen health, and invite all teens to come take a mental health break with us to enjoy the reflective, contemplative nature of these works. We will also enjoy guest artists Kelley O’Conner and Russel Thomas and guest conductor Donald Runnicles that evening.

If your students are unable to join us for our November Teen Night @ ASO, please check out our other opportunities for Teen Nights @ ASO this season. We hope your students can join us on a monthly basis!
